Harvard Sees Record Number of Applications

Harvard College received a record high number of Regular Action applications--over 57,000--for the Class of 2025. As a result, admissoions decisions will be sent out on April 6, 2021 at 7 PM Eastern and students will have until May 3, 2021 at 11:59 pm to reply.

Of the applications for Regular Action, 181 high school seniors attended schools within the territory The Harvard Club of Alabama. This was a record year for applications withing the state as well and our alumni interviewers were exceptionally busy interviewing candidates. "It's always so interesting to meet some of the brightest young minds in our country," said Tara Baukus Mello, who served as interviewed candidates for more than a decade in Alabama and previously in the Los Angeles area.

Harvard previously accepted 747 students for the Class of 2025 from a pool of 10, 086 who applied under Early Action in late 2020. These students join the 349 others who deferred admission to the Class of 2025 this past summer, due to the pandemic.
