Summer Send-Off & Alumni Meet-Up
Thursday, August 10 6:00-8:00pm in Huntsville
Bring your family and friends and join us to send off our first year students, Laurel of Ft. Payne and Austen of Madsion, as well as meet-and-mingle with fellow Harvard alums at Brewer's Cooperative, located at the Stovehouse entertainment complex in Huntsville, from 6:00-8:00. Brewer's Cooperative is a family-friendly restaurant featuring upscale pub food and the (unofficial) longest bar in Alabama with over 40 beers on tap, as well as wine, cocktails and mocktails. They also have a kids menu and a gluten-free menu. We plan to gather on the covered, shaded, patio for our group to make mingling easy, but may end up inside if the weather is inclement. The patio overlooks the Leisure Lawn at the Stovehouse entertainment complex which features outdoor activities such as cornhole, bocce, wooden pin bowling, ping pong, giant lawn games and more. Please RSVP to regional rep Elizabeth Hamrick by August 3 with the number of people in your party if you are able to attend so we can secure enough seats. There is no cost to attend, only the food/beverage you select. If you cannot attend this event, you can still reach out to Elizabeth to be added to her e-mail list for future Huntsville-area events.
