hrlogoHarvard Health Rounds

A monthly meetup on challenging health issues and solutions.

Dr. Stephen Taylor (a Harvard alumnus and quadruple-board certified general, child/adolescent and addiction psychiatrist) will be presenting on the topic of addiction as well as the opportunities for innovation in this area.

Healthcare is a powerhouse in Birmingham, yet the city and state also have some of the toughest healthcare challenges in the nation. That is why, as part of the overall educational mission of the Harvard Club, we are launching Health Rounds to explore and discuss health and health management challenges that demand innovation solutions.

This free, monthly event provides a forum for learning about key health-related problems that require innovative solutions, and for encouraging such solutions. The target group is Harvard alumni and students interested in health problems and finding solutions; invited guests, including students, faculty, administrators, entrepreneurs, investors, and health care practitioners. Special interest groups around specific health areas could emerge. A speaker opens the discussion, followed by networking. Check-in begins at 5:15 PM; Speaker at 5:30. Unless otherwise scheduled, Health Rounds will be held on the third Tuesday of each month. Please reserve your seat by signing up at Eventbrite for a free ticket.
