Webinar: The Heart Of Business
May 26 Live Webinar from the Harvard Business Review
A year of unprecedented change has focused renewed attention on the purpose of business, and what people should expect from companies and their leaders. In The Heart of Business, Hubert Joly presents his personal philosophy of putting purpose and people first to achieve extraordinary outcomes for all stakeholders.
On May 26 at Noon Central, in conversation with his editor Scott Berinato, Hubert will discuss his approach: one that requires radically rethinking how we view work, how we define companies, how we motivate, and how we lead. Drawing on compelling stories and lessons learned from a career at the top of business, Hubert will also share his own personal transformation from a hard-charging consultant to a leader who believes in "human magic."
Hubert Joly is the former Chairman and CEO of Best Buy and is now a senior lecturer at Harvard Business School. He is also a member of the board of directors of Johnson & Johnson and Ralph Lauren Corporation, a member of the International Advisory Board of HEC Paris, and a Trustee of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Joly has been recognized as one of the top 100 CEOs in the world by the Harvard Business Review, one of the top 30 CEOs in the world by Barron’s and one of the top 10 CEOs in the U.S. by Glassdoor.
